The Map and Geospatial Hub is pleased to announce ASU GIS Day 2019!

ASU Library is collaborating with the School of Geographical Sciences & Urban Planning, and the Arizona Geographic Alliance to host a dynamic GIS Day event for all of ASU and the general public.

GIS Day is an international event celebrated by organizations, institutions, and communities across the globe. The event provides a forum for users of GIS data and tools to demonstrate and discuss how geospatial technologies are improving the ways by which humans interact with, understand, protect, organize, and manage space.

The event is free and open to the public.

Transit and Parking

Light Rail

The Map and Geospatial Hub is easily accessible by Valley Metro Light Rail. The University Dr / Rural station is just a short walk from the Hub. We encourage all visitors to utilize this convenient, low-cost, sustainable public transportation alternative to driving.

Bicycle

There is ample bicycle parking (including, for ASU affiliates, bike valet) immediately adjacent to the Noble Library, where the Map and Geospatial Hub is located.

Automobile

The nearest automobile parking structures are the Tyler Street Parking Garage and the Rural Road Parking Garage. Both parking structures are open to visitors.
